About AVAT:

Agua es Vida Action Team or AVAT is a nonprofit citizen watchdog and action group in Albuquerque concerned about contaminants in our tap water and the standards for them.

AVAT wants to help make sure that the plan to deal with the contaminants is adequate and comprehensive enough to assure that the water will be safe for all.

We meet once a month at the Albuquerque Center for Peace and Justice. We encourage concerned citizens to join and support us.
